Training
- The initiative helps promote training and improves access to life long learning
- Training provided by the Initiative
includes Catering, Basic Food Hygiene, IT Workshops, Business and Administration, Assertiveness and Confidence building and also Horticulture.
Courses are run throughout the year and all training can be adapted to meet the needs of the individual

Aims of the Project
- To support people who have experienced mental health issues to access training and education
- To help people
to maintain and improve the quality of life through meaningful work placements
- To offer people moral, practical and emotional support
to overcome barriers that hinders the ability to work. To create real job opportunities to enable people to achieve their potential
within the workplace
How to be Referred
- We usually accept referrals from all the mental health services and we take self-referrals.
- After an initial
assessment we look at each member's individual needs and an action plan is drawn up which is as flexible as needed
- Each individual
is given a six-month period to complete
