The BAND I.T. Project is based at Victoria Hall, Monday 10am - 4pm and Friday 10am - 4pm.
We can offer one hour-long workshops on a one-to-one basis and has places available to people who wish to learn Information Technology.
All levels of ability can be catered for, from the absolute beginner who has never switched a computer on before, to someone who wishes to upgrade existing skills or to get some practice in. 

     European Computer Driving Licence (E.C.D.L.) Exam

 

Bandit is a fully accredited European Computer Driving Licence (E.C.D.L.) Test Centre. The E.C.D.L. is a recognised, relevant and up-to-date qualification. The British Computer Society (B.C.S.) issues certificates. The E.C.D.L. is an actual measure of computer skills that is Internationally recognised and provides proof of computer competency. 

 

The E.C.D.L. is made up of 7 modules that are: -

  • Concepts of IT
  • Using the Computer and Managing Files
  • Word Processing
  • Spreadsheets
  • Database
  • Presentation
  • Information and Communication
