Bolton STEPS employment is a user-centred service and we work within the rules of person centred planning. We will work towards what you want and need and will not work towards the wants and needs of anyone else or another service.

 

Bolton STEPS employment support main aim is to get people facing barriers related to work. This may involve a transition through education, voluntary work or a placement in work.

Being met by: -

 

• Providing impartial information, advice and guidance to both the applicant and employers
• The education of employers to recognise the skills of disabled people
• Supporting applicants with the help they need to overcome barriers to employment
