How the Employment Support Works
- First point of contact for any referrals, to explain the aims of the project
and what options are available
- A base line assessment of skills will then be made
- Work on individual action plan and goal settings
- Progress
assessment
- Working with relevant training staff to help development of each individual
- Aiming towards the next step into employment,
further education or voluntary work
- Offering advice in CV writing, job searching, completing application forms and interview skills
- Advice
on benefit changes if entering employment
- Further support is offered after gaining employment
- Promotion of well-being in the workplace
- Advice
and guidance to employers on mental health issues
