Fix IT (social enterprise project) involves computer recycling. Bandit (computer training to those who have experienced mental health issues) and Brass (support to refugees and asylum seekers) projects are working together for this project, offering a wide range of services to help with your IT solutions provided at competitive rates.

Every year millions of computers are thrown away in the UK alone. We wish to help the community by recycling these computers, as some are still useable. New legislation is in place, to reduce the amount of electronic waste going to landfill sites.

The Fix IT project is based in the town centre, we will be collecting unwanted computers and refurbishing them for use by other people. Non-useable machines will be disposed of appropriately. Any money that is made will be put back into the community by providing disadvantaged groups with training and job opportunities.

Donated computers can be collected for a small fee or you can drop them off free of charge. Just contact us to make arrangements.

The aim of the project is to offer refugees and those with mental health issues training in order to help get them into paid work. The training involves refurbishing, repairing or upgrading computers. They will also learn how to install software.

Gaining themselves work experience and a reference.
